COVID-19 Updates

Updated 12.30.2020

We are holding indoor worship services in compliance with the guidance and recommendations of the Oregon Health Authority. At this time, there is no need to register to attend.

All attendees 5 years and older are required to wear a mask.

Each member should make their own determination as to whether or not attendance is appropriate for them and their family. All are welcome. Please avoid attending if you are sick.

We encourage all our members to take advantage of this time to connect in meaningful ways. Call friends that you know will miss our weekly fellowship the most. Enjoy Sabbath family time. Create your own Sabbath worship experience. And wash your hands!

Dr. John Griffin has kindly provided us with articles and resources related to COVID-19 that he has personally vetted as being of particular value:

Keeping the Coronavirus from Infecting Health-Care Workers: What Singapore’s and Hong Kong’s Success is Teaching Us about The Pandemic -- An Article by Dr. Atul Gawande

Patients with COVID-19 GI Symptoms Experience Delayed Diagnosis, Viral Clearance

This is an important time for the church to step up and share the burden with each other. If you need help shopping for groceries or medications and don't feel safe leaving your home, please contact your parish elder or leave a message with the church office. We are in this together and won't leave anyone behind.

These are uncharted waters for Hood View Church and the Oregon Conference. Please keep us all in your prayers as we attempt to navigate well.
