MAY 10 @ 9:45 AM – The men of Hood View Church are honoring all the mothers by providing an ultimate waffle brunch. That means NO potluck food, nothing for you to bring. The men will cook, serve, and clean up after. This brunch is for everyone – All are welcome to attend.

DIABETES PREVENTION PROGRAM (DPP): Thursdays at 5:30 – 6:30 pm – here at Hood View in the conference room, starting May 8th. Anyone wanting to lose weight and prevent diabetes are welcome. There may be a fee, but most health plans cover it. For more information or to register see:

DINNER WITH THE DOC – Topic: Physical Activity for a Better Brain and a Better You! – Sunday June 1 from 5:00 to 6:30 PM. If you are able, RSVP at 503-512-9055 and leave a message with your name and the number planning to attend the delicious meal. You are welcome to bring a healthy dessert to share. HEALTHY HEART AMBASSADORS – are now at Hood View. These are trained coaches that will guide you to better blood pressure. They will reveal scientifically proven therapeutic interventions that lower blood pressure through lifestyle. Included is a delicious food and nutrition class once a month.
